This is a very sweet and romantic vintage 80s linen blouse and matching maxi skirt from Hanae Mori. Called the “Queen of Couture” in Japan, Hanae Mori had dressed many a celebrity and royalty before she stepped away from design in 2004. She is known for her attention to detail and exquisite embroidery work, a true master of design.
This light cream linen set features a beautiful leaf motif on the front and back of the blouse and pockets of the skirt with a sublime sheer mesh design. The blouse is a pull-over fit and the skirt is fully lined with a button-side closure.
Please note the size of the blouse and skirt are different. The blouse is a vintage size 8 and the skirt is a vintage size 6. Please note the measurements below.
Condition: Good. There are minor pulls in the mesh on the left pocket that are very hard to see.
