Incredible and very rare Norma Kamali sweatshirt skirt from her iconic “Sweats” collection. This line debuted in 1981 as “a new idea for active-casual fashion for day and night.” Kamali designed her Sweats collection to show that women can be stylish in sweats and was a huge success at the time, with pieces selling out overnight.
This sweats skirt is made from an incredibly soft gray fleece fabric that makes for a comfortable fit that can easily be dressed up or down just as Kamali intended with a subtle futed design for movement with inverted pleats. Like with traditional sweats, there is some stretch to this piece.
Condition: Good. There is a small tear near the bottom right side of the skirt that was sewn by the former owner. Please review images.
