This is a gorgeous emerald green and gold upcycled Richilene jacket. It was once part of a dress that had seen better days and was removed from the dress to be repurposed as a stand-alone piece. The open part of the jacket was once the back bodice of the dress that had a zipper. The zipper element (minus the zipper itself) has remained attached in case its future owner would like to maintain its zipper closure. With that said, in the design state that it is currently in, it can be worn open like a jacket or you can reinstate it with a zipper.
The bead and sewing work is phenomenal throughout the piece with emerald green sequins and gold threading with raised green floret designs - stunning! The sleeves are balloon sleeves with that hint of 80s. Whether you wear it casual or dressy, this is a standout piece for your wardrobe.
