Very rare vintage 1980’s Geoffrey Beene for Saks Fifth Avenue one-shoulder evening dress. This union made dress has a right-side long sleeve and an open-shoulder left. The neckline drapes across the front from right to left. It is constructed of emerald colored velvet with black tinsel along with a multitude of sheer mixed throughout creating a dramatic look. At the right shoulder and waist you’ll find gatherings of black tinsel in dynamic v-shaped lines. The bottom of this piece has an asymmetric design, longer in the back. This is a lux piece of art. There is a side zipper closure and the top is fully lined to the waist and has built-in wire for support. The sleeve features a hook and clasp closure at the wrist.
